The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), as active member of Hydro10, has developed a new website about AQUATOOL tool (aquatool.hydro10.org).
AQUATOOL is a generalized Decision Support System Shell for water resources planning and management. It includes different calculation modules, for example, to simulate the system management or to evaluate the water quality in rivers and reservoirs.

From 10th to 13th March 2015 the Technical University of Valencia (UPV), active member of Hydro10, will be hosting the International Conference on Drought Research and Science-Policy Interfacing. The event aims to discuss drought related research and the advances on response policies in order to foster the development of Drought Policies. Three consecutive thematic sessions will focus on three main drought issues:
- (1) Past, present and future of droughts;
- (2) Drought indicators, monitoring and forecasting;
- (3) Drought preparedness and mitigation options.
On Wednesday 11th March, a special session will be devoted to the 4th pan-European Drought Dialogue Forum.
